You can! This is my first time writing an article, but I felt like I just had to say something and share it with the amazing people that form the DA community. You can! by RuxandraLache

These past few days I saw an increase in art of any form spreading messages of peace, love and understanding. This couldnt make me happier. As the holidays draw nearer, people seem to put forth their best smiles and try to make the world a better place. Just like many of you out there, I couldnt say that this year was well a good one, but looking back I have found that the first things that pop in my head when I think of this year are the smiles my family give me every time they see me, my grandma's home made cooking whenever i'm feeling down, or my boyfriends undying support in everything I do the rest of the not so positive things seem to fade away like snow on a warm sunny day.

I am an editor, cutter and professional speaker for radio, tv & commercials, situated in Vienna, Austria. I used to be a cameraman for Austrian TV too and still sub for my colleagues sometimes.
I think one of my strengths is that I have quite a good eye for pictures and also know the "rules" for a good pic and how to get it.
Over the years I got curious about photography and in 2009 I just went to the shop and bought an EOS 450D (later an EOS 550D and now I own an EOS 70D). This was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Somehow it is like a trance to take and also to edit photos. Photography is more than a hobby for me, but still I see myself as a hobbyist and I just enjoy doing what I do.
